About Us

Disability-Led. Mission-Driven. Built for Inclusive Play.

LaBeron Lab, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to creating meaningful employment opportunities for young adults with disabilities while helping the toy industry improve accessibility and inclusive design.

Through structured Accessibility Play Testing, our testers use lived experience to identify barriers in usability, packaging, instructions, controls, engagement, and overall play experience. Their feedback helps companies better understand how toys perform in the real world and where thoughtful design changes can make play more inclusive.

At LaBeron Lab, we believe people with disabilities should not only be included in play — they should have a voice in shaping it.

Our Story

LaBeron Lab was created from a simple belief: people with disabilities should have a voice in the products designed for them — and meaningful opportunities to help shape those products.

We provide young adults with disabilities opportunities to work as Accessibility Play Testers, using their lived experience to evaluate toys for usability, accessibility, engagement, safety, and potential barriers.

Their feedback helps toy companies better understand how products perform in real-world use and where thoughtful design changes may create more inclusive play experiences.

LaBeron Lab is a Florida-based 501(c)(3) public charity committed to disability employment, inclusive design, and a future where accessibility is considered from the beginning — not added as an afterthought.
